Trang An and Bai Dinh honored at Vietnam Tourism Awards.
Many famous destinations in Ninh Binh, such as Trang An, Bai Dinh, and Tam Coc, were honored at the 2026 Vietnam Tourism Awards ceremony today.
The 2026 Vietnam Tourism Awards (VITA Awards) ceremony was organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association on the afternoon of July 9 in Ninh Binh to honor localities, businesses, and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the tourism industry's development.

Ninh Binh was the most honored locality, receiving eight awards and affirming the heritage destination's status on Vietnam's tourism map. Notably, the Trang An Ecotourism Complex was named a "Top Attractive Tourism Destination of 2025"; the Bai Dinh Cultural Complex was honored as a "Cultural Site with Exemplary Architecture Serving Tourists"; and Tam Coc - Bich Dong was recognized in the category of "Leading Tourism Destination in Preserving and Promoting Traditional Cultural Values."

In the accommodation sector, Emeralda Ninh Binh Resort, Emeralda Resort Tam Coc, Hoang Son Peace Hotel, and Ninh Binh Legend Hotel were once again honored, alongside Thanh Nga Luxury in the category of "Exemplary Tourism Restaurant."

Beyond Ninh Binh, many other prominent destinations received awards, including the Cu Chi Tunnels (Ho Chi Minh City), Sun World Fansipan Legend (Lao Cai), Dragon Ocean Do Son (Hai Phong), Con En (An Giang), Sam Son Beach (Thanh Hoa), Mui Nai Beach (An Giang), Marina Beach Club Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Prenn Waterfall (Lam Dong), Dong Van Old Town (Tuyen Quang), and the Lao Chai 1 community-based tourism village (Lai Chau).

According to the organizers, 106 awards were presented across nine categories, including tourism destinations, travel agencies, and accommodation establishments. ...resorts; restaurants and dining services; tourist transport companies; digital transformation enterprises; tourism promotion and marketing agencies; and a special TikTok award for pioneers in digital content creation.

Many major brands were honored across the various categories. In the accommodation and resort sector, honorees included Furama Resort Da Nang, FLC Sam Son Beach & Golf Resort, Silk Path Grand Sapa Resort & Spa, H'Mong Village Resort, and TUI Blue Nha Trang, alongside representatives from Ninh Binh.

Notable restaurants included Thanh Nga Luxury, Hai Dang (Hai Phong), Dung Tan (Thai Nguyen), and Xom Moi Garden (Khanh Hoa). Recognized tourist transport providers included Indochine Premium Cruise, Grand Pioneers Cruise, Quang Nam Cruises, Minh Viet, Song Hong, and Anh Loc Phat H68.

In the digital transformation and promotion categories, honored entities included BestPrice, Hanvina Travel, VNExpress Tour, VietTours, TST Tourist, and Anex Vietnam.

Mr. Pham Van Thuy, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, stated that the tourism industry is shifting toward a phase of in-depth development, prioritizing quality, digital transformation, the green transition, and sustainable growth. Following the first six months of the year, the industry has achieved approximately 50% of its international visitor target, laying the groundwork to reach the goal of 25 million international visitors and 150 million domestic visitors by 2026.
